OPENING DAY!

Opening Day is finally here after a very long winter! His team name is The Firebirds (quite a coincidence, huh?) Ben is in the AAA Division this year (9-11 yr olds). That means he will travel some and play teams from other leagues. He'll play the Monarch Little League (Louisville) and the North Boulder Little League. The opening day games were two short games which basically let each kid up to bat once. Ben got a chance to pitch and he did really well. He is often underestimated because of his size, but he 's got some heat! He'll also play more games this year. He has between 2 and 3 games a week! After the regular season, he has a chance to make it to the All-Star Team. We'll keep you posted on the season.
