The inside of Christ Church

The old Oxford Jail. Those castle prisons sure put a chill in your spine. Guess what? It's now a hotel!

To the untrained eye, this is simply a stairwell in a building at Oxford. For Harry Potter fans, like Ben, they recognize this stairwell from the Hogwarts Academy! This stairwell is a much used location in the movies. The dining hall at the bottom of the stairs is probably the most used location in the film, but it was being used for a private function and Chris couldn't get in. If he tried, he could have ended up in that prison tower, just like Anne Bolyn!

Where would one refortify himself after a long trip "across the pond" and a full day speaking at the oldest university in the Western World? The saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Apparently, when in England, do as Americans do!
