Bolder Boulder 10K 2008

There were record numbers at the Bolder Boulder this year: over 54,000 runners, joggers & walkers! Bolder Boulder is still the world's largest 10k road race.
It's so large, the starting times are done in waves. This was the start of my wave, the HA wave. Timing is done electronically. Everyone has a computer chip tied to their shoes which records the time.

Finish time: 1:17:02.
It wasn't my best finish, by any means. But I had been back to running for just over a week and I was just so glad to be running again!

The weather was pretty cool and rainy. Good for running, terrible for hanging out at the celebration afterward. I took my finishers picture and headed home.

Congrats on the first race back! I'm doing my very first race -- just a 3K to start -- in a couple weeks, then targeting a 5K in August.

Keep up the good work!
