After going swimming in the afternoon, we had a great time hanging out at the Holland's house with the Brynestad's & Neitenbach's. Deb & I had an epic battle of Washers with Jeff & Sandra (it's not important who won...). Chris & Eric teamed up against Kristen & Kirk. The kids jumped in to play too. It's a fun game.
Deb and Kirk had a great cookout. Afterward, we headed out to the golf course to watch the fireworks. Our kids loved playing on the golf course, but hated the actual fireworks. Ben and his friends got a game of pick-up football started. Joe & Sammie managed to stuff as much candy into their bodies as humanly possible and then jumped in the Jumpy Castle. Fortunately, all that candy stayed down! Ahhh....the All-American Holiday. Next July 4th we'll be in England. Maybe we'll have a good ole American BBQ for the Brits and celebrate our independence from them.
